R.I.D. Discouragement, I Win

On the verge of tears, that’s all it seems like I’ve been feeling lately. A deluge of frustration engulfing my heart. It’s suffocating me. I breathe in but get no satisfaction. With each inhalation of every breath, my lungs fill with lifeless matter. Discouragement is beating down on me as it had done many, many times before. My arms crossed above my head as my last defense

But realizing that discouragement could care less about my appearance, I cover my chest to protect what it’s really after–my heart. The same heart that pumps life throughout my body but at the same time feels like a trench of hopelessness.

Needless to say, I have the heart of a warrior–a soldier. So even though it feels like my very essence of being is fading. I will uncross my arms from over my chest and clench my hands tight into fists and raise them up in a fighting stance. Gritting my teeth, I raise my eyes to discouragement so that out eyes are now level. Its dark, empty pupils shoot dagger toward mine, It takes all I am not to move. All I am not to try to dodge these jagged pieces of metal flying towards me. Nonetheless, I know I done enough dodging and as the knives growing nearer to me, they contort from jagged metal to crumpled paper that blows away with one breath from my lungs. A small battle won for me.

But discouragement is relentless. It cocks its eyebrows and smiles smugly, daring me not to speak. My lips feel heavy, but silence is no linger an option. I swallow the lump in  my throat. My mouth opens but the words are stuck in my throat.

Something pulls at my pants leg. When I gaze down, I lock eyes with hope and an understanding passes between us. ‘Faith,’ hope sings, ‘No matter what happens, hope and I have each others  back.’ After all hope and faith tend to go hand in hand. I turn around. And behind me…is an army in the lifelong battle of life itself. To my left was kindness with a hand on my shoulder. Love was to my right, dressed in armor, ready to fight. A subtle but apparent breeze of reassurance dances in the wind, causing me to shiver, shaking off all of the burdens I once held. I feel the frustration of my heart melting and being replaced with joy. A joy that uplifts my heart and gives me wings. Discouragement is still there but its façade  of arrogance has faded as its eyes twinkle with uncertainty and suddenly its got someplace it’d rather be. And I feel a burning at my side. I gazed down to see the blade of courage that has been there all along.

I come to the realization that I’ve been wanting this moment so long. I draw courage from my belt and look discouragement in the eye and at last find the strength to speak, “You will leave now. I don’t want to see you in this neighborhood. If you wish, you may take a bow, and your head will be where you once stood. You can go to the deepest trench of the ocean, where you’ll never see the light. Where you’ll decompose into the sand and be devoured by beasts of the latest hour of the night. I don’t care what happens to you. You’re leaving and I won’t shed a tear. Know that when it comes to my life, you serve no purpose here.

Him. (to my brother going into the navy)

I can’t breath.

My hands are sweaty.

Unfocused girl.

What have you done to me?

I never knew I could get this way.

But yet I show it today.

Every time I close my eyes-

His face and death arrive.

The bombs blast the tears run.

Why did this have to come?

Yet he has not left,

But fear strikes my heart.

This may be the last time i see him.

Our world is split apart.

The pain

The pain

When he leaves.

No one notices…

he’s taking me.

he comes home ignoring the past.

How can we get over it that fast?

The blood

the gore

the unsettled scores.

Why did you have to go into war?

Hes a savior

Hes great

he saved millions from an airplane

yet he saw-

the darkness that held.

In the battle field and wells.

Yes he is not gone.

he still lives at home.

But I know the future awaiting him-

will make him so strong.

I cry every night.

When I think about his death.

the letter at our door.

The front steps.

The grief it would be.

The yelling screams.

All because he wanted to be in the navy.

I will miss him.

I will cry for him.

But that does not mean hes missin’

He will still be here.

Somewhere in my heart.

I love him

And forever will.

Even when hes gone.

Yes I Just Wrote A Poem About A Girls Week.

I scream

I cuss

I hate

I break

My stomach aches

My head spins

My throat tightens

My feet loosen

My hands clench

And so much of the rest

I cant stop it.

I didn’t want it

But it came.

Because it had to.

God why do you hate me?

We go through it over and over

but yet its worse each time

Only if we had less things to deal with.

How about a text?

Maybe hunger or rest?

Im tired of this mess!

Bitchy

Touchy

and very very tired.

Why did God do this?

We argue we complain

We swear each day-

If i didnt have to go through this-

but its life.

Too young in the beginning.

makes sense in the end.

At least when your expecting- it sort of ends.

You can look around.

You can sigh and complain.

Wonder which ones are the same.

This tells you now.

how bored I am

Writing a poem.

About the life we girls have.

it sucks the life out of us.

let me tell you that.

but there’s no better relief-

Then when you wake up.

And all the symptoms have LEFT!

So lets stop sleeping.

Start going.

This is the longest week.

But when next Monday comes.

Uh, hey… Long time no see for sure! I’ve got this a-ma-zing novel idea for NaNoWriMo, so nobody take it!!

In fact, here’s a tentative blurb:

“I forgot who I really was a long time ago.” With those words, Emma Redrick’s story begins. Emma lives in a fractured society- one where everyone is sent off to die on their fifteenth birthday. No questions, no arguments. They just come pick you up at noon on your special day. Sometimes, people are dragged off kicking and screaming. Others go willingly. But Emma is special. She doesn’t plan on going at all.

Hahahaha I love suspense blurbs… And I might release the first chapter sooner or later if I have the time. I’d hate to make everyone’s life terrible with the suspense…

THE SPOOKY BIRTHDAY

It was a sunny afternoon and the gang was hanging out inside their favorite pizza shop. Sharing an extra cheese pie

“Okay, what do you guys, want to do after we’re done eating?” Cookie asked them

“Hey, why don’t we ride our bikes over to the new fair grounds and check the place out.” Tommy Cub suggested

“Umm, I don’t think that’s such a great idea. Besides I’m sure that it’s all gated off until the grand opening next weekend.” Sammy Turtle answered him back

“Oh, don’t be such a big limo Sammy, we’ll just take a quick ride over and if it’s closed. We’ll just turn around and come right back before it gets dark.” Tommy scowled him

“Well its better than sitting around here all day trying to figure out what to do.” Daisy Penguin added “I just hope it’s not as lame as it was last year. Remember that rocket blaster ride, the most fun you’ll ever have out in space?” Which only turned out to be a stupid train that just went around in a lame circle really fast.”

Less than an hour later they pulled their bikes by the entrance to the Rocky Shores Park. Then walked over to the gated area where the fair was going to be held. Vicky Dragonfly giggled the fence but it was locked

“Well I guess, we’ll just have to wait until next weekend. When it opens” She shrugged

“Oh great, so what should we do now?” Tommy groaned as they started to walk back

“Hey!” Why don’t we go back to our houses and start getting ready for my online sleep over?” Their friend Tammy Tweet cried out

“Huh?” Isn’t it a bit early to have a sleep over? It’s still light out.” Sammy frowned

“I know, but not for much longer. I’m sure that by the time we ride back it will start getting dark” Since my birthday falls on the same day the fair opens. I just figured why not have my slumber party tonight” And celebrate my birthday at the fair. It’d be like having double the fun!” Tammy started to explain

“Sounds, great Tammy, but exactly what’s an online slumber party?” Daisy asked her

“It’s just like having a real one but only we’ll all be online. We all be connected to our skype accounts so we can see each other”  Just like if we were all hanging out in the same room together, except we’ll be on our computers” Tammy answered

“Plus Tommy and Sammy won’t have to worry about what time they’ve to leave. You guys, can stay up with us all night.” She added smiling

“Cool!” I never been invited to a girls sleep over before I always wondered what the big deal about those were.” Tommy laughed. Tammy also laughed before patting Tommy on his back

“You’ll soon find out Tommy, just one piece of advice. Get ready to be afraid!”

A little after eight Tammy looked around her bedroom to make sure that she had all. That she needed for tonight

She pulled up her hair into a ponytail then turned on her computer and logged onto her skype account. And waited for the rest of the gang to log on

She didn’t have to wait very long a few minutes later her computer screen was filled with five incoming boxes

“Hey guys!” Tammy greeted them happily

“Whoa, eww!” What happened to your face?” Sammy cried out

“Yah, Tammy!” Are you serving chips with your face?” Tommy added jokily

“Ha-ha very funny, you guys!” I’m just trying out this new beauty treatment that I found online. It’s a mixture of honey and sugar it’s supposed to clean out your pours and make your face feel fresher.” Tammy shrugged

“Oh cool!” Send us a copy!” Both Cookie and Daisy yelled

“Boring, don’t tell me that we’re going to just sit around and talk about beauty stuff all night.” Tommy frowned

“Tommy, didn’t you want to experience what happens at a girl’s slumber party?” Well now you know and with your hair. It wouldn’t hurt to get some beauty tips.” Daisy began

“Hey, what’s wrong with my hair?” Tommy interrupted frowning

“Nothing if you’re going for the I just stuck my finger inside the light socket look!” Daisy laughed

“Hare, hare, you’re just jealous that yours doesn’t look as good as mines.” Tommy smirked. Daisy was about to answer him back. But the sound of Sammy’s chocking interrupted

“Are you okay Sammy?” Vicky asked him

“Yah, my drink just went down the wrong way.” Sammy answered

“Oh wow! Daisy, whatever you do don’t move your head.” Tommy told her

“What!” Why?” Daisy cried out frowning

“Cause I think I just saw a big spider land on top of it.” He smiled

“What!” Daisy yelled before she jumped out of her chair

“Oh wait, sorry, it was just a piece of fuz on my scene!” Tommy laughed

“Tommy, you’re such a big jerk! You nearly scared the day light out of me!” Daisy scowled him

“Okay, okay, you two let’s play nice.” Vicky teased them both

“Okay, so what are we going to do next?” Sammy asked

“I know why, don’t we turn off our lights and see who can tell the best scary story.” Cookie suggested

“Owww! I got a good one!” And she lived right here in this very house!” Tammy cried. Her name was Mary Horsemen,” She began

“Who was Mary Horsemen?” They all wanted to know

“Mary Horsemen, lived and died here in Rocky Shores, about a hundred years ago. Every year her family would throw the best holiday party in the whole neighborhood” They were usually the talk of the town Mary, would decorate their Christmas tree with all kind of mints.”

“That whenever you walked into the room it’d have a candy sweet smell to it. That night during the party Mary, received a phone call then disappeared into thin air.”

“Huh?” What do you mean disappeared?” Daisy frowned

“The story goes like I said that during the party Mary received a phone call. Who or what it was about remains a mystery” But whoever it was must have upset her cause she left the party in such a hurry that she forgot her coat.” Tammy began to explain

“What happened to her? Did they ever find her?” Vicky asked

“Well noticing that she went missing from the party and never returned. They sent out a search party looking for her” They found her hours later inside her pool house frozen to death.”

“Supposal Mary, went in there to keep warm but when she closed the door. All the snow that was on the roof of the door fell caving the door shut, so she couldn’t get out.” Tammy answered her

“That story was more sad then scary.” Cookie told her

“Yah, there wasn’t anything scary about it.” Tommy added frowning. Tammy smiled before she continued

“But the story isn’t over yet, some still say that her spirit never left that it just wonders abound.  Just waiting to seek her revenge on those she believes caused her death.”

“Oh yah, right! And how is she going to do that if she’s already dead?” Tommy frowned. Tammy’s smile grew wider

“Simple, some say that if you dare to chant her name on a dark winter night. Like tonight that she’ll make her presence known.”

Tammy then instructed the gang to close their eyes and chant out loud Mary’s name ten times

“Now!” Quick, open your eyes!” Tammy cried out

“Whoa Tammy, look out there’s something right behind you!” Daisy yelled

“Nice try, Daisy, I’d expect that from Tommy, but sorry I’m not falling for it.” Tammy smiled

“No, I saw it too. It looked like a black shadow cross your room as soon as we opened our eyes.” Cookie added

“Oh wow!” Maybe it really worked! We really made connected with Mary, maybe we should do it again just to make sure.” Tammy answered

“Umm, maybe, we should just leave it alone.” Vicky softly mumbled. Tammy was about to answer her back when a faint sound of haunting music floated through the air

“Where’s that coming from?” Cookie asked frowning. And before any of them could answer her, Tammy interrupted by asking

“What happened to Daisy’s screen box?” She kina of just vanished or something.”

The gang looked at their computer screen closer and noticed that Daisy’s slot-frame was nothing more than a red blur

“Maybe, she had to go to the little girl’s room!” Tommy joked

“Yah, maybe or maybe she’s having computer trouble. That’s why her screen just turned all weird like that.” Sammy added

“Let’s give her a few minutes. I’m sure she’ll be back on.” Cookie also added smiling. After kidding and joking with each other for a few minutes

“I’m getting kina worried she should’ve came back on already. Has anyone tried calling her?” Vicky asked them

“I did. But I only kept getting her voice mail I even sent a few texts but she never answered.” Cookie shrugged. Tammy was about to dial Daisy’s number, when she got a text from Cookie

“Hey, haven’t you noticed how weird Vicky, has been acting ever since you told us that story?”

                             “No, not really weird how?” Tammy type back

“Don’t know but she’s not acting like herself. She sent me this weird text saying that Daisy, was taken by Mary’s spirit” To look out cause she’ll be back.” Cookie wrote

“That’s weird. Maybe she’s just messing with you.”

“No, that’s not like Vicky, she wouldn’t do something like that just for fun.” Cookie replied. Tammy was just about to write her back when Tommy interrupted her

“Oh great!” Now Cookie’s missing!”

“Huh?”

Tammy looked up from her cell phone and onto her computer screen and noticed that just like Daisy’s, Cookie’s slot was bright red

“Oh great!” Tammy thought to herself

“Okay, this is getting to weird first Daisy, now Cookie, disappeared there’s something very weird going on. Don’t you guys agree?” Sammy began

‘I warned her I warned her that she’d be back. But she didn’t believe me.” Vicky muttered

“What!” Who are you talking about warned her about who?” Tommy asked frowning

“Umm, I agree with Sammy, I’ve tried calling both of them and I only get their voice mail. Why don’t you guys, come over and see if we can figure this out before we all suddenly disappear,” Tammy interrupted. Then after discussing it for a few minutes more they all agreed that it’d be a good idea

Tammy looked at the clock on her night stand

“Where are they? They should’ve been here by now?”

Tammy took out her phone and text Tommy

“Hey!” Where are you guys?”

She was about to text him again when her doorbell rang

“Well, it’s about time,”

 Tammy ran downstairs and opened her front door and found that only Vicky was standing there

“Oh, hey! Where’s Tommy and Sammy?” I thought they were coming with you?”

“We should’ve never brought her back. She was waiting for so long just waiting for someone to bring her back.” So she could get her revenge on all who murdered her.” Vicky answered her

“Vicky, I don’t know who you’re talking about but you’re starting to creep me out. Now where are Tommy and Sammy? And why didn’t they come with you?” Tammy frowned. Vicky pushed past her and closed the door behind her

“Shh, listen.”

“What?” I don’t hear..”. And before Tammy could finish all the lights went out

“Of course what else could go wrong?” She frowned to herself

“I think that there are some flashlights in the kitchen.”

They were about to walk towards the kitchen when Tammy’s cell phone went off

“Well, aren’t you going to answer it?” Vicky suddenly frowned. Tammy just gave her a weird look

Hello?”

“Tammy?”

“Oh my god!” Daisy?” What happened to you, where are you, are you okay?” Tammy cried out

“Tammy, quick you’ve to help us I don’t know how all I remember going to get a drink. And the next thing I know I’m waking up next to Cookie, down in your basement.” Daisy quickly explained

“What!” How did you get there!” Tammy yelled

“I don’t know, but you’ve to help us before she comes back!” Please Tammy, don’t let her take us!” Daisy sobbed. Then there was a loud crashing noise and the line went dead

“Well what did she say? Is she okay, what’s going on?” Vicky cried out

“Quick!” We’ve to go downstairs to my basement that’s where they’re we’ve to help them!” Tammy answered

“Your basement? How did they get there?” Umm, maybe we should wait for the boys. They should be here any minute now.” Vicky mumbled

“We don’t have time to wait for them!” I don’t know what’s going on but I do know that we’ve to go down there right now. And help them!” Tammy yelled at her

“Okay, okay, but maybe we should get something as a weapon before we go.” Vicky told her. Tammy just gave her another weird look before grabbing a couple of flashlights out of her kitchen counter

“Here! You really think we really need them as weapons?” She asked Vicky

“Better safe than sorry, I don’t know who or what we’re going to find in there,” Vicky shrugged

Together they slowly made their way towards the basement. Tammy opened the door and reached for the light switch but before she had a chance to flick them on. A bright light flashed almost blinded her and cries from all over yelled out

SURPRISE!

Tammy was so startled that she almost lost her balance and fell down the stairs. If Vicky didn’t hold on to her

“Whoa!” What’s going on?”

“Surprise! Happy birthday!”

Vicky laughed as she helped Tammy down the stairs

“We really got her, you guys, Tammy, you should’ve seen the look on your face!”

“Oh wow!” I can’t believe that you guys, did all this just as soon as my heart stops. Beating out of my chest I’ll be so happy!” Tammy cried out happily

“When did you guys, plan all of this?” She added. Daisy went up to her and gave her a big hug

Well, we all felt bad that your birthday plans were interrupted cause it fell on the same weekend as the fair. We already had it plan to throw you a surprise party but didn’t know exactly when” But when you told us about your plans for your slumber party”

“Since we had everything already for your party we all decided that it’d be perfect to surprise you tonight.” She began to explain

“But what made it even more perfect is when you told us that story that’s when I text everyone. And told them my scary twist for tonight since we all know how much you love a good scare.” Vicky added

“Oh wow!” Vicky, you truly deserve an Oscar for your performance you really had me freaked out. That was just so awesome!” I still can’t believe that you guys, did all this for me!” Tammy cried out punching Vicky lightly on her shoulder

“But I warn all you now be ready. Because you know that I’m sure going to find a way to pay you all back real soon!” She added laughing. Then after Tammy opened her presents and blow out the candles on her cake

She gave the gang a big smile and cried out

“This was the best birthday party ever!” Even if you all did scare me half to death I can’t wait to see what you’ve plan for next year!”

The true meaning of life is not true.

They say it is happiness.

They say it is greatness.

But the real truth of life- Is to survive.

To fight.

To breath.

To speak.

And to count the days until you finally get to sleep again.

Of course not all of us get this path.

Some get fame…

Some get freedom.

While others are still being enslaved from their homes.

Most people shout YOLO.

Why do they shout it?

For fun?

For a good laugh from a joke?

But those others.

They pray off the phrase.

They think about the phrase.

You.Only.Live.Once.

You do.

So why stay in the shadows all your life?

Why not express yourself like you want too?

Why do we hide ourselves in our fear and cry?

Why do we take our lives?

Because society said to?

S.O.C.I.E.T.Y.

I ignore it.

Yet it affects EVERYONE.

The true meaning of life is to live it.

The true meaning of life is to survive it.

It’s not to point out flaws, it’s not to joke about others, and not to make a mockery of those you know.

Life is full of B.U.L.L.I.E.S.

Society is a Bully.

Life’s meaning is to survive.

And it doesn’t matter what was you survive-

it’s all about who survives.

If-

if I CAN SURVIVE.

Then you can too.

So take a breath. Open your eyes. Smile.

And realize YOU ARE SURVIVING.

And that’s all you gotta do.

That’s all you gotta do to live your life.

All ya gotta do is survive

KILLER GHOST

HI, MY NAME IS JENNY WILSON AND THIS IS MY STORY:

Chapter 1

“I don?t know about you, but I feel weird about going to this party tonight,” Becky Adams said. While looking at herself in my bedroom mirror, so she could fix her witch costume

“Yah I know Holly, only died a few weeks ago and her so called best friends. Are throwing this big Halloween party like nothing ever happened” I replied from my bed. “Well at least you?re wearing black”

Becky rolled her eyes then answered

“You?re morbid but seriously don?t you think it?s a bit weird?

“Everything about those two is weird, what I can?t get over is that the police. Still believe that Holly committed suicide”

“As vain as Holly, was it?s hard to believe that she?d ever do something like that” I sighed

“Yah well, we better hurry up the guys should be here any minute” Becky answered. Looking at the clock on my nightstand

“Hey by the way, how are things between you and Leo? She added

“Okay I guess, but I think that part of him still blames himself. About what happened to Holly,” I answered her

“Oh, and are you okay with that? Becky frowned

“Oh, I?m okay with it alright, like a big hole in the head” I thought to myself

A couple minutes later my doorbell rang. Both Becky and I ran downstairs

I opened my front door and smiled

“Hey! Wow! You two look great!

“Hey sexy! Bob Reeder smiled then kissed Becky on the check

“Hey Jen! Great costume who are you supposed to be? He added

“Very funny Jen, I thought we agreed that you?d wear a costume” Leo frowned

“You agreed Leo, not me remember? I frowned back

“Umm excuse me but do you think you two can kill each other later? I don?t want to be late” Becky interrupted

Once we were outside Becky whispered in my ear

“I thought you said things were good between you and Leo?

“Yah, they are can?t you tell? I answered back sarcastically

Chapter 2

A few minutes later, we arrived at Lori Brown?s house

“Hi! Come in the sodas are in the kitchen and the munchies are all over the place” Just help yourselves”

“You want to dance? I asked Leo, who seemed to be staring off into space

Leo?

“What? Oh sorry I was just thinking of how much Holly, used to love these parties,” He answered

“Oh terrific” I mumbled to myself

“Just look at them Jen, they were supposed to be her best friends. And they?re just walking around like nothing happened” Leo frowned. I was about to answer back. When Lori interrupted

“Okay people! She shouted jumping onto a chair

“Can I?ve every body?s attention?

“In that outfit?”

Bob yelled from across the room. “Do you think anybody?s looking at anything else?

Everyone laughed except for Becky

“Seriously you guys! Lori laughed. “It?s time for tonight?s party games”

She jumped down from the chair and walked over to table and picked up a flat box

“Behold the magic box! She yelled out

“What?s a magic box? Becky whispered over to me

“It?s a board used to contact the dead,” I whispered back

“Okay we need four people to volunteer

No one moved

“Oh come on! Don?t be a bunch of party poopers! Lori pouted

“Okay I?m in! Celia Hop smiled

“Great! Who else? Lori asked. “How about you Leo?”

“Forget it! I don?t want any part of your stupid games,” Leo snorted

“Whatever Leo, How about you Becky?” Lori asked

“Yah sure, why not? Becky shrugged

“Okay, I need one more whose it going to be? Lori smiled

“Me! Bob cried making his way through the crowed

“Okay now before we get started I?ve to set the mood,” Lori told them. She took out a dozen candles lite them then turned off the lights

“Now for those of you, who never played with a magic board” Lori started to explained in a whispery tone of voice

“The board has the letter of the alphabets painted on it; it also has the words yes and no written on top corners

Of the board”

“When the spirit answer our questions it?d either just the alphabet to answer or the yes or no”

Lori picked up a small heart shape piece of plastic with tiny legs attached to it

“This is called a placket” She added. “It has a circle cut out in the middle of it. This is how the spirit will used to spell out the words with”

“Okay now we place our finger tips on the board very lightly and ask our first question”

The other kids did as instructed and Lori cried out

“Are there any spirits present here with us tonight?

At first nothing happened but seconds later the circle began to move. Underneath their finger tips

“Okay who is moving it? Bob asked. No one answered as the circle slowly moved to the word

YES

“Man this is really weird,” He added in a low voice

“What?s your name? Becky asked. The circle spelled out the name

BOY

“This is so stupid! Leo muttered

“Shut up Leo, go on Celia, ask it another question” Lori told her

“Okay is there?s something that you?d like to share with us Boy? Celia asked. Again the circle moved to the word

Then the circle spelled out the word

More what? Bob asked frowning. The circle suddenly went crazy

“Well what did it say? I cried out breaking the silence that grew around them. Becky looked up from the board and whispered

“It said more will soon die

Chapter 3

“So how long did it take Leo, to calm down last night? Becky asked

“He didn?t” I answered. “But you?ve to admit that message was pretty freaky. Who do you think was pushing it?

“I?ve no idea. Thing just took a life on its own” Becky shrugged. “So do you want to shop some more or head for home? She asked before slurping the last of her soda

“I guess head for home and call Leo, hopefully he calm down enough to want to do something” I shrugged

“And you think he will? Becky asked frowning

“Like I said I?m hoping but I highly doubt it,” I answered back sighing

LATER THAT DAY

Hello

“Hey Jen?

“Oh hey Lori, listen I just walked in—

“I need to talk to you; it?s important can I come over? Lori interrupted

“Well I know even if I say no, you?re going to show up anyway. So you might as well”

“And Lori, this better be important like you said I almost broke my neck trying to get the phone” I answer her back sarcastically

A couple minutes later Lori pulled up onto my driveway and got out of her car

“What?s up? I asked after opening my front door for her. Lori just walked passed me and popped herself on my couch

“Make yourself at home why don?t you? I smirked. “Now what did you want to talk about that couldn?t wait until tomorrow?

“This! Lori cried out. She then took out a crumpled up piece of paper from her pocket and handed it to me

Which read:

“You’re an evil girl Lori; people like you shouldn’t be allowed to exist, so I have made a decision. You’re going to die just like Holly did”

“And since I know how much you love surprises you’ll never see me coming! See you soon!

“Oh wow! Have you shown this to the cops? I asked after reading the note

“No, there?s no need I already know who wrote it” Lori answered taking the note back and sticking it back into her pocket

“You do? Who? I frowned. Lori walked over to the window and mumbled

Leo

“What! Are you crazy Lori, Leo would never write you note like that” I cried out

“How do you know you saw the way he was acting the night of my party. I was surprised that he even showed up in the first place” Lori shrugged

“And if it?s true and Holly was murdered. It wouldn?t surprise me if he did it,” She added

“Lori, why would Leo, murder Holly? I frowned

“Who knows maybe he snapped or something after all she did dumped him? Lori shrugged

“Whatever Lori, Leo?s not a murder and he didn?t sent you that stupid note,” I answered

“That?s not what BOY told us” Lori sighed

“Oh, please Lori, give me a break I can?t believe that you actually believe that stupid board. Is talking to you” I sighed. Lori got up from couch and headed for the door and answered before opening it

“Just don?t say that I didn?t warn you”

She then walked out closing the door behind

Chapter 4

The next night Becky and I were sitting around my kitchen table. About to share a frozen pizza

“Guess who came over yesterday,” I told her

Who? Becky asked

Lori

“Lori, why? Becky frowned. I then quickly told her what happened. Becky was about to answer when the phone rang

Jen?

Yeah?

Are you still up?

“No Lori, this is my spirit that you?re talking to! I smirked. “What do you want?

“I will tell you when Celia and I get there—

“Lori, I hope that this doesn?t have anything to do with Leo? I interrupted

“No, it doesn?t see you in a little while! Lori answered. Before she hung up the phone

“So what does she want now? Becky frowned

“I?ve no idea I guess we?ll soon find out” I shrugged

I was checking on the pizza when there was a knock on the back porch. Lori had a brown bag under her arm; she opened it and pulled out her magic board then places it on top of the kitchen table

“Are you kidding me? You came over just to play with that stupid thing! I cried out in protest

“It?s a magic board and it?s not stupid. Beside I need your help in finding out what?s going to happen next” Lori whined

“Okay, okay let?s just get this over with. You guys, want some pizza it should be done by now” I answered her

“I thought I smelled something good” Celia smiled

“Save it for later we shouldn?t be eating while trying to contact BOY,” Lori added

“Oh hey! Maybe he?d like a slice himself! I joked

“Funny Jen, we?re never going to contact anyone if you?re going to be cracking jokes” Lori frowned

“Sorry let me just go grab a few candles and turn off the lights” I smiled

After I turned off the lights and lite some candles. We all placed our fingertips lightly on top of the board

Lori closed her eyes and whispered

“BOY, are you there?

Slowly the circle stated to move then landed on the word

YES

“Did you know that I got a threatening note? Lori asked

YES

“What note? You never told me—”Becky began

“Shh! It was a joke right? Lori interrupted

“BOY, at Lori?s party you told everyone that Holly was murdered. How did you know she was? Celia asked

RIGHT HAND

“That?s right! Holly was right handed but the cops found the gun in her left hand! I answered

“You also said that there would be more murders. Does that mean you know who will be next? Lori added

CELIA

“What! What about me? Celia cried out

I suddenly took my hands away from the board and jump out of my chair

“Hey! What are you doing we?re not done yet! Celia yelled out

“I don?t know what?s going on here, but I don?t want any part of it! I answered her back

“Jenny?s right this is stupid! There?s no way that a piece of junk can predicate what?s going to happen to us” Becky added. Lori was about to answer her when the flames of the candles suddenly blew out

“What the hell is the matter with the two of you? Lori snapped. As soon as I turned on the lights

“Hey where did Celia disappear to? Becky asked looking around the room

“Huh? What are you talking about she?s right—”I began. “Okay Lori, very funny! Tell Celia to come out now! The joke time over” I added frowning

“What joke? I?ve no idea where she?s” Lori shrugged

“Well she has to be here someplace she just didn?t vanish into thin air! I snapped at her

“Okay, let?s all calm down yelling at each other isn?t going to help us any” Becky interrupted

“Oh great! Now you?re siding with her? Next, you?re going to tell me that BOY kidnapped Celia! I cried out

“Funny, but no. all I meant was that there?s something weird is going on. I think that maybe we should call the cops” Becky shrugged

“Okay tell me again exactly what happened here tonight? Officer Harris asked them

“Look! How many times do we?ve to go over this? Lori and Celia came over we played with the stupid magic board, then the lights went out.” And Celia, disappeared into thin air! I cried out

“I know that you?re upset but about this whole thing. But yelling at me isn?t going to help” Now did any of you leave the kitchen while the lights were off? He asked

“You mean anyone besides Celia? No” I smirked

“I see, is this some kind of a joke? He frowned

“What! If this were a joke, why?d we call you? Are you going to help us or not! I exploded

“Okay, okay I?ll make out a report but I still believe that your friend is playing a fast one over you. I bet that she?ll show you in the morning and act like nothing ever happened” Officer Harris stated

“Oh wow! Do you think he?s right? Do you think that Celia just sneaked out when the candles blew out? Becky asked. After everyone left

“Who knows? But it wouldn?t surprise me if those two idiots, didn?t plan this whole thing just to freak us out” I shrugged

“Now that?s so—”Becky began

“That?s nothing to compare when Holly was still alive. She was even worst” I interrupted. I grabbed my seven-grade picture off the café table. And handed to Becky, so she can have a better look at it. I noticed that her hands were shaking. I was about to ask her if something was wrong. When she asked

“Which one are you?

“There” I answered pointing to a little blond girl in the second row. Sitting next to Leo

“And there?s Holly, Celia and Lori” I added

“Where?s Bob? Wasn?t he in the same class as you guys? Becky asked

“Yah there” I answered her

“Who?s that sitting next to him? Becky frowned pointing to a fat, shy looking girl

“Jealous? I smiled. “That?s Mollie something, I felt sorry for her Holly, and crew used to pick on her all the time.”

“I always wondered whether happened to her? I replied taking the picture back and placing it back on my café table

“Oh, so do you really believe that BOY exists? Becky asked changing the subject

“I don?t know do you? I shrugged

“Oh yah right! I believe in him just like I?m cheating on Bob, with Casper behind his back! Becky laughed

Chapter 5

The next day I was get ready to go to school when my phone rang

“Hello?”

“May I speak with Jenny Wilson?”

“Umm speaking” I answered

“Miss Wilson, this is Officer Harris from last night?” I?d like to come by and talk with you this morning, if that?s okay with you?

“Say about in half an hour?” He added

“Okay see you then,” I asked him

Thirty minutes later I let Officer Harris inside my living room. And after a brief silence he pulled out a small notebook from his pocket; and began questioning me

“Would you say that you and Celia Hop are good friends?”

“Umm not really” I shrugged

“Do you know of any enemies that she might have?” He added frowning

“Besides the whole senior class expect for Lori, and she probably can?t stand her either” I thought to myself

“Not that I know of” I answered him

“I understand that your friend Lori Brown recently accused. Leo Hunter of sending her some kind of threatening note”

“Do you know anything about this? Officer Harris asked

“Yes, but there?s no way that he ever sent her that note! I snapped. “What does any of that have to do with Celia?

Officer Harris just ignored my outburst and continued

“According to Celia?s mom she was here last night”

“Duh! We were the ones who called you when she disappeared” I smirked to myself

“Yes, Lori and she showed up around nine. I think” I answered him

“Isn?t that kina of late to visit someone? Officer Harris frowned

“Well umm, this is going to sound crazy. But Lori, wanted for us to play with her magic board,” I shrugged

“Magic board? Isn?t that toy you use to talk to spirits with? He half smirked

“Yes, I know. Its sounds dumb but Lori, believes that this spirit named Boy,” talks to her and told her that more kids are going to die,” I explained

“More? Officer Harris frowned

“Yah besides Holly,” I shrugged

“I see. Well thank you Miss Wilson, I guess that?ll be all for now,” You?ve been very helpful,” Officer Harris answered

“Umm Officer Harris, did something happened to Celia? I asked. Officer Harris just stared at me for a second before he answered

“Early this morning we found Miss Hop?s body lying next to Tower bridge,” It?s still not clear if she either jumped off the bridge or was pushed off.”

“Her autopsy will tell us more,” He answered. He walked over to my front door and placed his hand on the knob, and asked

“Oh by the way did this Boy, say anything creative last night?

“Well Lori, asked it if she was going to be next,” And Boy, answer no that it was going to be Celia,” I answered. Officer Harris nodded then thanked me again before he closed the door behind him

Chapter 6

LATER THAT DAY

Everyone had heard about what happened to Celia. Kids were clustered in small groups around the halls talking about it. I walked through the halls looking for Leo, I finally found him talking with Bob and Celia by his locker

“Leo! I?ve been looking all over for you! I cried out

They all stopped talking and turned to face me

“Well it looks like you found me, what?s up? He smiled

“Did you guys hear about Celia? I asked them

“Yes,” they answered together

“The cop in charge of her case came by my house early this morning,” I added

“Officer Harris? Why? Becky asked frowning

“He had more questions about last night that–,” I began

“Last night? Leo interrupted smirking. “What happened last night?

“Lori and Celia came over my house and we were playing with Lori?s magic-

“I can?t believe that you?d play around with that stupid thing! Leo snapped. “I?d think that you?d know better than to hang out with those two idiots!

“Whatever, Leo! He asked about you two,” I snorted

“Oh really, why? Leo smirked

“Cause Lori, told him that she believes that you sent her some stupid nasty note,” I answered him back. He was about to answer me back. When Becky interrupted him

“What else did he ask you?

“He wanted to go over what happened last night,” I shrugged

“And? Becky frowned

“And what? I frowned back

“And did you tell him what BOY said about Celia? She asked

“Yah, why?

“I can?t believe you Jen; you should?ve just kept your mouth shut! Becky snapped. Before she stormed off with Leo

“Wow! Nothing like a little murder to bring those you care about closer together,” Bob mumbled

Chapter 7

As soon as I walked inside my house I had a funny feeling, that something was wrong. I walked into my living room and noticed that the window had been busted open

“Oh shit! I quickly ran back inside my kitchen and pulled out a knife from the drawer. Then started to look around the house

Wow! That?s strange everything seems to be okay,” I thought to myself. “Why would someone break into someone?s house? And not steal anything?

I went upstairs and when I walked into my room. The first thing that I noticed was that bear, that one Leo, won for me last week. Was lying by my door way face down

I cried out once I realized that my room had been ransacked

But why?

The answer was written on my mirror in red marker

MIND YOUR DAMN BUSINESS ARE YOU?LL BE NEXT!

“I know that it?s late. But thanks for coming over,” I told Becky

“Oh wow! Becky replied standing by the door way

“Did you call the cops yet?

No

“No? Why not! Becky cried out

“Cause if I call them. Officer Harris is just going to come over and ask me a whole bunch of question,” that I don?t want to answer” I answered her

“Oh, so do you think they meant it? Becky asked. While staring at the message

“Nope, just someone?s idea of a joke,” I shrugged

“A joke? Somebody broke in, destroyed your room and left you that message as a joke? Becky frowned

“Maybe, who knows? All I know is that something weird is going on. And I?m going to find what that is,” I shrugged

“I don?t think that?s such a good idea,” Becky mumbled

“Huh? Why don?t you want to know? I frowned

Becky just stared at me strangely then repeated

“I really don?t think that?s a good idea,”

Chapter 8

The next day as I went to my locker, I overheard a group of girls talking several yards away

“Did you guys, hear the news? One of them was asking. “Celia, died by a blow to the back of her head, before she fell off the bridge,”

“No: way! Where did you hear that from? Do they?ve any idea on who did it? Another girl cried

Jenny! Someone shout. I turned around and noticed that Lori, was running towards me

What?s up?

Lori handed me a picture that looked a lot like the one. That I had shown Becky a few days ago. It had been folded so it could fit through the slot of a locker. A red circle was drawn around Lori?s face along with the words

YOU?RE NEXT!

“Oh wow! You?ve to take this to the police,” I told her

“Gee, it?s so nice to know that you?d care. If I get killed or not,” Lori smirked

“Of course I?d care! How can you even ask such a stupid question like that? Do you want me to go with you? I cried out

“No, I?ll be okay” Lori answered

“Okay, but call me as soon as you get back home,” I told her. As we walked out of the school and towards the parking lot

When I got home I looked my copy of my old school picture. But I couldn?t find it

Was the picture that Lori have mines?

Did the person who broke into my house. Steal it then gave it to her? I wondered. The ringing of the phone pulled me out of my trance

Hello?

Jen?

Yah, how did it go? I asked Lori

“It didn?t. Listen Jen, I know who—

“Oh, get me guess, Leo! Right! I interrupted her

“No, it?s not him. Can you come over please,” Lori added

“Yah, I guess I?ll see you in a few,” I shrugged

Minutes later I was knocking on Lori?s front door. But no one answered

And since the door was slightly opened I gently pushed it open and walked inside

“Hey Lori! I?m here! I yelled out

Still no one answered I slowly step into her kitchen. It seemed to be empty until I noticed a puddle of blood lying next to Lori?s body. In her hands was what I believed was my old school picture

Chapter 9

“Are your parents? home? Officer Harris asked me

“No, they?re out of town they?ll be back in a few days,” I answered him in shaken tone of voice

“Well I?ve all the information that I need from you for right now. Go home and call your folks let them know what?s going on,” He told her

“Okay, do you think that Lori?s going to be okay? She looked really bad,” I asked staring at the floor

“I don?t know. I?m just glad you got here when you did. If she does pull through its cause of you,” He smiled

“Now as soon as you get home make sure to lock all your windows and doors. I?ll have an officer drive you home,” He added

A few minutes later, as soon as the officer who drove me home, check out the house and left. I was about to call my parents, when I heard something like glass breaking from my back room. I took a quick peek and saw that a rock was lying on the floor

With a piece of paper tied to it. I picked up the rock and note which read:

YOU?RE NEXT!

I ran for the phone but the line was dead

“Oh; just great! I thought to myself

I nervously opened my knife drawer and pulled out a small sharp carving knife. And tucked it inside my back pocket

“It?s better than nothing,” I thought to myself. I was about to go inside my living room. When a shadowy figure stepped out from the hallway

“You know that I don?t want to but I still have to kill you! The figure snorted. I suddenly recognized the voice

“Oh my god! Becky?

Chapter 10

“You got too involved in trying to find out who is behind all of this” I knew you?d have figure it out sooner or later,” Becky growled. Her voice was full with hate and anger. Overwhelmed by panic I moved out of her way seconds before. Becky slammed the poker that she was holding down

“But why? Why are you doing this! I cried out

“You really don?t remember me do you? Becky laughed

“Remember Molly? From the seventh grade? Good old fat, ugly Molly!” The one that Holly and those other two bitches used to love to pick on! Becky yelled. Her eyes glittered with anger

“Fooled ya! Didn?t I! She added laughing

Suddenly it was all starting to make sense

Why Becky?s hand started shaking, when she was looking at my school picture. Why she never wanted me to go over to her house. She was scared that I?d recognize her folks

“You were the one who broke and destroyed my room,” You stole my school picture and gave it to Lori,” I mumbled

“Guilty! Becky laughed

“But you look so different! How, what–,” I began. Becky only laughed harder

“Well Jenny, crash diets, contact lens, and lots of exercise,” Can do wonders for a person, but it never erase the memory of how,”

“They made my life a living hell! Nothing could ever change that! But I vowed that I?d get even with them, no matter how long it took,” Becky explained

“So you changed your name? I asked in a confused tone of voice

“Yup, and made everyone believe that I was new. No one had any reason to believe otherwise,” Becky answered me back shrugging

“So you were the one, who was moving the board,” There was never a spirit named BOY,” I asked. Becky snorted

“Can you believe how stupid they were to actually believe, that a stupid piece of cardboard could tell you,” When you?re going to die,”

“What a bunch of idiots! I loved watching Lori, squirm after I sent her that note, only to ruin it by thinking Leo wrote it,”

“My only regret is that I didn?t have time to tell Holly,” who I was I mean what?s the purpose of killing someone,” If they don?t know why you want to kill them,” She added shrugging

“And did you get to tell Celia or Lori, who you were? I asked. “Maybe if I keep her talking, I can figure out a way out of this mess,” I thought to myself

“Oh yah! You should?ve seen their faces it was priceless! You?ve been a good friend Jen, but I?m sorry I„ve to do this! Becky cried as she raised the poker high above her head

Becky! No wait!

“Sorry, but Becky?s dead! My name is Molly! She cried out. Before smashing the poker down. When a voice yelled out from behind

Hold it right there!

My hallway was suddenly flooded with lights. I put my hands up to shield my eyes from the glare

A tall figure was standing by the door. It was Leo and standing right next to him was Bob and Officer Harris

Chapter 11

Later that night when we finished answering all of Officer Harris?s questions, and phoning our parents?. We decided to share a pizza at the local pizza shop

So Becky was really Molly? Bob asked biting into his slice of pizza

“Yah. Not that I?m not grateful. But why did you guys, come by for? I answered him

“Oh, I wanted to apologies for acting like such a jerk, maybe catch a movie or something? Leo started explaining. “But when we got there and peek through the window, and saw you two fighting,”

“I called Officer Harris,” He added

“My hero?s! I cried out. Kissing them both on the cheek

“So how?s Lori? Is she going to be okay? Bob asked

“The doctors said she?d be fine in a few days,” I told him

“And ready to torment her next victim! Leo added laughing

“Or maybe she finally learned her lesson! Bob joked

“Oh yeah right! Don?t hold your breath! And Becky? What?s going to happen to her? Leo asked

“Harris said that shrink is going to evaluate her. Before they decide anything,” I answered

There was a long silence between us

“Well I?m taking off I?ll see you guys tomorrow,” Bob said getting up from the table

“And where are you going? Leo asked

“Oh I figured that after the night we all had, that you two deserved a little time alone,” And besides I?m totally broke so it?s better that I leave before the check comes! Bob laughed. He then gave us the peace sign and walked out of the shop

“There goes one guy that will never change, no matter what happens! Leo joked. He then moved closer and kissed me long and hard

When it was over he looked into my eyes and smiled hi

Well that was my story along with some updates:

Leo and I are still happily together, and are going to the same college next year

Bob and Lori got together hard to believe but true. She even tamed down a little

And as for Molly well the last thing I heard was that, she was found quality of all charges. But instead of going to jail, the judge decided it was best if she served her time in a private mental hospital. In where she can get the help that she needs

And if you?re still wondering why I even told you this story

Well I did it just for one reason and that is. The next time you or somebody you know decide to pick on someone. Just because they?re different from you

And please remember that words hurt even if you?re just goofing around. Or trying to make yourself more popular. Cause maybe, someday, these very words you said. Can one day come back and coast you one very deadly mistake

The Fears: Story 1- The TreeHouse

I grabbed my friend and ran outside into the woods. We were heading to the log cabin that was in a bunch of trees. It was the perfect tree house! It was noon so it would be light outside! We were going to see what we could do with it. When we got there the ladder hanged and was broken in some parts. Me and my friend went around to find something to get the ladder lower. When I found a stick I smiled and we went back. But when we did the ladder was gone. I was confused but still tried climbing up. When we got up the place seemed darker. Way darker. Hardly any light hit the tree house. I shrugged and walked inside. The floor creaked but I knew it was old so I never cared. My friend was shaking and I just laughed. She didn’t think it was funny but I did. I found a light and turned it on. When I looked around I found this old doll. It was pretty and neatly dressed. I held it in my arms and smiled as my friend screamed. “What’s your problem Hannah?” She couldn’t speak as she was pointing behind me. I turned around but nothing was there. “What’s your-” I turned around and dropped the doll screaming. Hannah was dead! She was on the ground a knife in her back. “HANNAH!!!” I ran to where we came in but the entrance wasn’t there anymore. I looked around spotting an ax. I picked it up and slammed it into the wall. I kept slamming the wall until I could fit through the whole. I got out and there was no way down but to jump. I held onto the ledge tight as I didn’t want to jump. Nothing was there as the normal sounds of the forest was there so I started to relax. Maybe it wasn’t Hannah. Maybe it was just… Oh, I didn’t know. It was Hannah and I knew it. I just sat on the edge and took out my phone. I was shaking as I typed up 911. I called them telling them what happened and they said they would be right there. I started to close my phone as something covered my mouth and threw my phone out of my hands. I was starting to sweat with fear as it picked me up by the head and next thing I know i’m falling down, down, down. I hit the bottom with a giant crack realizing I broke bones. Everything was going hazy as something sparked in my view as pain shot through me as I knew I only had seconds. A knife was stabbed into my stomach and I was grabbing the ground for my life. As the demon was gone and everything came to a big STOP.

SPOOK LAND

From the back seat Puppy noticed that Tommy Cub’s brother Chuck, turned up the volume on his car radio as loud as it would go

“I guess that his way of telling us, that all our talking is starting to get on his nervous. But we couldn’t help it,” It wasn’t every day that you receive in the mail, an invention to spend an all expense free week.” Inside the newest theme park Spook Land

“I still can’t believe that we won free tickets! I can’t wait until we get there!” And check out all the rides especially the Jungle Falls, I heard that once you start sinking into the quick sand,” You never stop!” Tommy cried out happily

“Yah, me neither. But I still can’t figure out how we won our tickets, I don’t remember entering any contest,” Do you guys? Sammy Turtle asked them. Tommy was about to answer him back when Chuck interrupted him

“Okay you little monsters! We’re finally here!”

Then after grabbing their bags out of the car trunk. They headed towards the park entrance

“Oh wow!” This place must be really scary; we’re not even inside yet. And I can hear them screaming from out here!” Vicky Dragonfly laughed

“Yah, I bet they’re riding some roller coaster or something close to it,” Chuck answered. “This place is going to be awesome! Oh sorry little bro, but it looks like you’re going too be stuck inside the hotel room.”

“While we’re having fun in the park!” He added laughing

“Huh?” Why?” What are you talking about? Tommy frowned. Chuck pointed to a sign that had an arrow sticking two feet out of the ground. That read:

“Oh ha-ha! You’re so hysterically not funny!” Tommy smirked. When they got to the ticket booth, there was an ugly two face clown with green horns sticking out of his head. Sitting inside of it

“Dare or scare?” He asked Chuck

“Excuse me?”

“Would you like to purchase our dare or scare day passes?” He repeated smiling evilly

“Oh, neither. We received these inventions by mail,” Chuck answered him back. Then handed the inventions over to him. The clown looked them over before he punched some buttons into his computer

“Ah! Yes. It says here that you’re going to be our very special guest this week,” The clown answered. Before he pressed the button to open the front gate

“Please come in, that’s if you all dare to!” He laughed

“I wonder what he meant by that?” Puppy thought to herself. As she followed the gang inside the park

“Okay kids, please wait by the gate and one of our ghouls, will be by shortly to drive you to our Dead Zone Inn,” He instructed. Daisy was about to pick up her bags, when the clown suddenly ran out of the ticket booth. And snatched them away from her

“Hey! What do you think you’re doing those are my bags!” She yelled

“Oh, don’t mind me Miss; you won’t need these anymore!” He laughed. He then took all of their bags and placed them into a pile, then took out a book of match and set them on fire

“Hey! Are you nuts?” Chuck yelled out. “Those were our bags!”

“Not no, more they not!” The clown laughed. Then took off running

“Can you believe that jerk?” As soon as we get to the hotel I’m going to report him!” Chuck growled. And before any of them could answer him back. A loud honk interrupted

A few minutes later they were all gathered inside their hotel rooms

“Hey look! It’s our bags!” I wonder how they did that.” Daisy frowned

“Aw! Who cares this place is supposed to be filled with weird surprises, so what should we do first?” Tommy asked them

“Oh wow! Check it out!” Puppy cried out. Before she walked over to a glass display case that was next to one of the dressers. Inside of it was a dummy dressed as a fortune teller

I love these things!

Puppy took out a quarter from her pocket and dropped it into the slot. Soon the dummy’s hand came to life and dropped a small card down it

“So what does it say?” Vicky asked. Puppy looked down at the card and frowned

“It says if I ever wanted to have a future that I must leave. The park and never return,”

“Weird, but did we come here to stay locked up inside our hotel room? Or to have inside the park?” Sammy asked them

Minutes later they were walking around exploring the park

“Oh wow! Chuck told them. “Check that out!”

They walked over and saw that one of the park’s clowns had placed a giant spider on a kid’s hand

“Okay, now remember don’t let it fall and the first kid that it bites, loses! He laughed

“Oh gross—Vicky began. “Oh, I’m sorry I didn’t see you standing there,”

“That’s okay, it was my fault I didn’t see you either,” A small voice mumbled

“Is everything okay?” You look upset?” Vicky asked the frighten looking rabbit

“Umm no, I was just looking for my sister, we split up a few hours ago.” Trying to find a couple of kids, who seemed to disappeared into thin air,” The rabbit answered her back

“Disappeared?” Vicky frowned. “Did you guys, report it to the park’s ranger?” She added

“We tried, but they just laughed at us and told us that this was Spook Land.” Kids disappear here all the time,”

“They just thought it was a big joke,” The rabbit sighed. “You’d think that since we’re special guest that they’d treat us a bit differently,” Even though we didn’t even know that this place existed until we got our tickets by mail,”

“A few weeks ago, my name is Joe, by the way” He explained

“Weird, neither did we. I’m Vicky, and these are my friends Puppy, Daisy, Sammy and Tommy,” So how did your friends disappear? She asked

“A day after we arrived at the park we met two kids, Timmy and Jenny,” They were also special guests, they told us that before we got here

“That one of the park’s clown warned them, that any kid who was brought here as a special guest,” Was in great danger and shall leave as soon as possible.” Before it was too late,” Joe started to explain

“How do you know that they weren’t lying or just trying to scare?” You and your sister? Tommy frowned

That’s what we thought too, and then we were supposed to meet them for lunch.” So we could ask them some more questions, but they just seemed too disappeared,” Joe shrugged

“Well maybe they went back to their rooms and forgot or something,” Daisy added also shrugging

“That’s what we figured but when we went back to the hotel. “And checked out their room it was empty, the only thing we found was this,” Joe began to explained. He then pulled out an old newspaper clipping from his back pocket. And showed it to the gang

It was a picture of an old Ferris wheel with flames surrounding it. Below the picture it read:

FIRE TRAP

“We thought it’s was some kind of clue. We figure if we can find this ride we’ll find out what happened to them,” Joe told them

“Hey! I’ve an idea why don’t we see if we can find. One of those information booths” They should have all the names of the rides and where they’re located at,” Daisy suggested

A few seconds later

“Wow! I didn’t think this place was so big, there must be a hundred rides here,” Chuck whistled. As he and the others looked over the list of the rides posted

“Yah, but none sound like they can be a Ferris wheel,” Vicky added

“Maybe it’s a new ride and it’s not open yet. Or it was an old ride and they decided to close it,” Puppy shrugged. Sammy was about to answer her back when Joe’s sister Cookie, came running up to them

“Joe! We’ve to get of here, right now!” She yelled

“Whoa! Relax Cookie, what are you talking about?” Joe frowned

“When I was walking around I overheard two of park’s ghouls. Joking with each other that soon every kid who was brought here as a special guest,” Would soon disappear just like the others!” She explained

“What! That’s nuts! Why would they just bring us here to have us disappear?” Sammy cried out

“I don’t know, but I do get a funny feeling that there’s something very weird. Going on around here”

“So far two kids have disappeared and the only thing, we had in common been that we never heard of this place

before” And that we came here as special guest,” Cookie answered him back

“Okay, let’s just say it’s true. Let’s go back to the hotel and try to figure this out there.” I suddenly feel very uncomfortable walking around,” Vicky told them

When they got off the elevator they bumped into a frighten looking clown heading towards them

“Don’t be scared I’m not going to hurt you. But you kids need to leave this place before it’s too late,” You’re not safe here leave now!”

He then took off running before any of the gang could ask him why

“Well that wasn’t weird at all,” Chuck mumbled. After a few minutes of silence

“Why don’t we just pack up our stuff and go,” Sammy told them. Once they were inside of Joe and Cookie’s hotel room. And before any of them could answer him, there was a loud knock on the door

And a note was slipped under their door

That read:

GREETINGS ALL SPECIAL GUEST!

I’D BE HONORED IF YOU’D MEET US DOWN IN OUR VAMP CAFÉ FOR A MIDNIGHT BITE

AND GREET

THAT’S IF YOU’RE ALL ARE BRAVE ENOUGH!

SEE YOU THEN!

“Okay, at first I was super excited about coming here. But with all these stories of disappearing kids, creepy clowns warnings, and now this,” I’m with Sammy, let’s just get our stuff and leave!” Daisy cried out

“Yah, we’ll go as soon as we find out what that note was all about. Hopefully we can get some answers before we leave,” Cookie answered her

A few minutes later they were all gathered inside the café

“I’m telling you guys, I don’t think we should be here. We should’ve just got our stuff and left,” Sammy was telling them. Tommy was about to answer him back, when a park clown walked out of the back room and interrupted

“May I’ve your attention my name is Mr. Blue Toe, and I’d like to take this time to thank you for coming.” Now I’m sure you’re all probably wondering why we invited you all here.” He began to explain

“Yah, how did you pick us?” Puppy cried out

“Simple we just picked your names out of the phone books,” He laughed. “Now you’re here so we could show you a really scary time. So scary that you can’t wait to go home and tell all your friends,” The clown added

“But what happened to the other kids? Where did they disappear to?” Cookie yelled out

“Ah! Don’t you worry your pretty little head about them young pup, you’ll see them soon enough!” The clown laughed

“But you didn’t answer the question,” Cookie frowned

“And it was a very good question and I’m sure you kids, have lots of them. But they’ll have to wait until next time,” The clown smirked. Then ran out of the room without saying another word

“Well that was a complete waste of time, come on let’s get out of here,” Chuck told them

A few minutes later they were heading towards the front entrance of the park

THE SUICIDE RESCUE

Judy Haven wondered where she was as she looked around the small room. She tried to remember how she got here, but her memories were nothing but confusing blurs. Judy was trying to clear her mind when she saw a ghostly figure coming towards her and began screaming

“Please don’t scream Judy, I’m not going to hurt you I’m only here to help you”

Who are you? Judy asked, in a nervous tone of voice. The ghostly figure smiled

“I’m Hope, your guardian angel”

“My who?” Can you please tell me what’s going on here?” Judy frowned

“Well for starters. I’m sorry Judy, but you’re no longer living,” Hope began to explain

“What do you mean I’m no longer living? You don’t mean that I’m dead do you?” Judy cried

“Yes, I’m afraid so. You committed suicide with all the stress building up inside of you. You couldn’t take it anymore and well there’s really no need to continue,” I think you understand” Hope stated

“How could I be so stupid,” Judy muttered to herself. It was suddenly all coming back to her first her boyfriend of two years broke up with her. And if that wasn’t bad enough her parents announced that they were getting a divorce. Her mother wanted to move to another city as soon as possible. All those things were just too much for her to handle so she just decided that the best way was to end it all

“Sorry Judy, but you can’t go back what’s done is done,” Hope whispered. “However, I’m here to offer you a very special deal because of your perfect record. “We’ve decided to give you a second chance at life. You’ve the opportunity to enter the body of another girl your age.” Whose thinking about doing the same thing you did but her soul belongs in heaven. So we’re allowing her to enter heaven without death that’s if you agree of course,” She added

“Hey wait a minute! Why didn’t I get to go straight to heaven if my record is so great?” Judy frowned “What makes her so special?”

“Umm, that’s my fault. You see a soul transfer was going to be reacted on you.” But the girl who was going to do it changed her mind at the last minute” I’m so sorry,” Hope explained

“Its okay I guess,” Judy shrugged who I’ll be replacing?”

“Do you know Amy Matthew? I believe she was in some of your classes,”

“Yah! I know her don’t tell she’s the—,” Judy began

“I’m afraid so,” Hope nodded

“No way! She’s about the sweetest person who ever lived! Judy cried out

“You’re right Amy’s a very sweet and caring innocent girl that’s why we believe that she should be with us,” Hope smiled

“Well I’m still not going to do it. Hey maybe she’ll change her mind like that other girl did,” Judy stated

“But you’ve to! Hope pleaded.

“If you don’t and please don’t ask me how I know Amy’s not going to change her mind she’s still going to die,”

“In other words,” Judy interrupted. “I’m to save her soul or she might be sent someplace else,”

“Yah, something like that,” Hope answered

“Okay, I’ll do it but only for Amy’s sakes what do I’ve do? Judy asked

“Well in order to have her join us you’ll have to prepare her for what’s going to happen to her,” Hope started to explain

“Oh yah right! And how am I supposed to do that? Judy smirked

“Oh, I’m sorry Judy. But that’s something you’ll have to figure out yourself,” Hope smiled as she began to fade away

“Oh terrific! And how the hell oops sorry! Judy cried out. “But how am I suppose to prepare someone for heaven especially when I never been there myself.” Okay Judy think,” And then it hit her

“That’s it! She exclaimed snapping her fingers together “I can visit Amy through her dreams and tell her what’s going to happen. I just hope I don’t screw this up.” Judy floated in search for someone to show her the best way to get into someone’s dreams. An hour later she was on her way to Amy’s house when she finally arrived it was midnight Amy was fast asleep. She was a little scared at first but as Amy slept Judy explained all that was waiting for her on the other side. Amy seemed skeptical at first but was willing to accept the fact that soon she’d be among the angels that await her. Shortly afterwards Judy went to look for Hope to tell her

“I was just looking for you”

“I know and in the future, whenever you need me just call me with your thoughts and I’ll appear as soon as I can,” Hope smiled

A couple days later Judy asked for Hope to appear

You rang! Hope laughed

“Very funny! Judy smirked. “Anyway I think Amy’s finally ready,”

That’s great Judy! Congratulations! You’ve completed your mission it’s now time for you to return to earth,” Hope replied hugging her

“Oh umm, I wasn’t expecting to return so soon,” Judy mumbled

“Why not? You’ve completed your mission so there isn’t any reason to keep you here any longer.” Is there anything that you’d like to know before you return? Hope asked. Judy thought for a moment before she answered

“Could I see Amy one last time before I go back?

“Sure, but there’s one last thing before you go when you enter Amy’s body you’ll feel sick for a day or two,” Hope answered her

And before Judy could ask her why someone called out her name. She turned around and smiled when she saw Amy walking towards her

Judy! I thought you were dead!

“I am, but I won’t be here for much longer,” Judy replied smiling

“I’m so happy to see you for the past couple of days I’ve been having weird dreams about you? Amy told her

I know

“You do? Wait is it really true then? I’m really going to heaven? Amy asked in a confused tone of voice. Judy just nodded her head yes

“I’m sorry to break this up but it’s time for you to go Judy,” Hope interrupted. She then turned to Amy and continued. “I know this is all

seems strange. But Judy has to leave before the body that once belonged to you remains in a permeated state of death,”

“Don’t look so sad Amy, I’ll see you again someday,” Judy added giving her a good-bye hug

Chapter 1

Judy opened her eyes and was amazed

“Wow! It really worked I’m Amy, now,”

She slowly tried to get out of her new bed. But as soon as she stood up she felt dizzy and decided to lie back down

Whoa! This is going to take some getting use to Judy thought to herself

“And how is my little girl feeling today? A strange voice asked walking into her new bedroom

“Umm, not so great mom,” Judy muttered listening to the sound of her new voice. Hope warned me that I’d feel sick but she never said that I’d feel like a truck just ran over me she thought to herself. Amy’s mom reached forward and gently touched her new daughter’s forehead

“Well you do feel warm maybe you should stay home today now get some rest,” She smiled as she kissed Judy on the cheek. Judy soon fell back into a deep sleep filled with mysterious dreams. When she woke up several hours later she was still feeling a bit funny. Judy lay on her new bed wondering why she was feeling so weird

Maybe it’s because of the soul transfusion no it’s gotta be more then that something to do with Amy but what? Then it hit her Amy was going to commit suicide but why?

Two days later as Judy prepared herself to go back to school she was still completely baffled

“Well at least I’m going back to school tomorrow. “Maybe I can get some clue on why she wanted to end her life.” Judy had spent the last two days studying everything she could of Amy’s. She read through all of hers journeys, poetry searching for any clues to help her understand. But couldn’t find anything her only hope was to hopefully find out what was wrong through Amy’s friends. The day passed quickly much too quick for Judy and even though she was happy to see all her old friends again. She couldn’t forget that it was Amy and not her that they were talking to. Still she couldn’t find any reason why Amy had been so serious considering killing herself. Everything seemed fine in Amy’s life as far as Judy could tell she had a great boyfriend she did well in school and most important Amy had tons of good friends. A week later and Judy still had no clue on why Amy was going to kill herself until one day. When she was cleaning out Amy’s closet and found an old crumple up piece of paper hidden behind some boxes

What’s this? Judy thought to herself as she unfolded it and was shocked

Oh my god! Amy was HIV positive!

Chapter 2

“Hurry up Amy! You’ve been in there for almost an hour! “Other people live here too,” Judy’s new little sister yelled. Judy washed her tear stained face and combed her hair

“God! Why did I ever agree to do this! She mumbled to herself before opening the bathroom door

“Well it’s about time what’s wrong with you anyway? You’ve been acting strange all week,” Her sister asked

“Like I’m not really your sister? Judy mumbled

What?

“Nothing,” She sighed as she walked passed her and into her room slamming the door behind her

“God! This is a nightmare what the hell I’m going to do now? She asked herself. The ringing of her phone caused Judy to jump. She sighed and leaned across the bed to answer it

Hello?

“Okay, what’s wrong? Kelly Huston, Amy’s old and Judy’s new best friend asked

“It’s a long story,” Judy sighed

“Well I’ve the time if you do? Kelly answered her

Judy was about to answer when her mom knocked on her door

“Amy! Leo’s here to see you!”

“Oh great, just what I needed,” Judy thought to herself. “Tell him to come up mom!’

“Well are you going to tell me or what?” Kelly asked

“Yah, but not over the phone come over in five minutes” And I’ll tell you everything,”

“Okay I’ll see you in five later then,” Kelly replied

Chapter 3

“You haven’t told anybody have you?” Leo demanded as he closed her door behind him

“Well hello Leo, it’s nice to see you too!” Judy smirked

“Yah right, whatever just answer the question.” Did you tell anyone or not,” He repeated sounding annoyed

“No, I haven’t happy now?

“Good, I don’t think that we should, we should just forget all about it okay?” Leo sneered

“And how am I supposed to do that?” Judy asked angrily

“You’re not listening to me!” He interrupted “What if your new boyfriend finds out what’s his name,

Oh yah! Frankie, what do you think he’d say? Or your mom I bet she’d be thrilled if she ever found out,”

Judy was about to answer him but Leo didn’t give her a chance. He quickly left as Kelly was walking into her room

“What was he doing here? Kelly frowned

“Oh, he just wanted to make sure that I didn’t tell anyone about our little secret,” Judy sighed

Little secret? Kelly asked frowning

Judy took a deep breath and replied “Do you remember a couple week ago when Frank and I got into a big fight.” Because he thought I wanted to get back with Leo?

“Yah” Kelly shrugged

“Well that weekend I went to a party and I bumped into of all people Leo.” I don’t remember exactly how it happened but I think that he must’ve spilled me something to help me relax.” All I remember is blacking out and when I came to I was completely naked lying next to Leo, who was stilled passed out.”

Kelly’s mouth dropped open

“Leo raped you?

“I don’t know! He said that he didn’t,” Judy sobbed

“Holy crap! That big asshole! Kelly cried out

“It gets worst about a month ago he had to take a blood test for the football team.” And the results came back that he was HIV positive and so am I! Judy sobbed

What! Please tell me that you’re kidding? Kelly cried out

“I wish I could”

“Oh my god! Have you told your mom? Frank? What are you going to do?” Kelly asked

“I don’t know! I can’t tell my mom it’d break her heart, and if I tell Frank he’s going to hate me forever!” What do you think I should do?” She asked

“I can’t tell you what to do. But I’d tell Frank, yah he’s going to be more then pissed and probably want to kill Leo. “But if he really loves you he’ll

get over it, but whatever you decide I just want you to know that I’m here for you no matter what,” Kelly answered her

Judy gave her a big hug and asked

“What would I do without you?

“Probably have a normal life! Kelly laughed

“Oh yah right what’s that?

“Umm that’s a good question? Kelly started rubbing her chain. “Sorry can’t help you there I never had one.” The ringing of the phone cut her off

Hello? “Amy’s madhouse, this is Kelly speaking how may I help you? She asked tossing Judy’s tear bear in the air “I believe so do you wish to speak to her?” You’d? “Well then, you’ll have to ask me nicely and remember to say please, thank you please holds.” Judy laughed as she took the phone away from Kelly

Hello?

“What’s that goof doing at your house? Heather Black, Judy other new best friend asked

“Well right now she’s playing with teddy” Judy answered

“Oh goody, she finally found someone who she could relate to anyway did you talk to Leo yet?” Heather asked

“Yah, he just left a few minutes ago,” Judy sighed

And?

“And exactly what you thought he’d say to forget about the whole thing. I can’t believe that jerk! Judy frowned

A car horn interrupted

“Oh Mark’s here, I’ve to go but I’ll call you later,” Heather replied

Okay later

“I still can’t believe that asshole is walking around like nothing is wrong, “I could care less if he doesn’t want to take care of himself.” But to put you and god only knows how many more in risk now that’s murder! Kelly said as she checked her watch

“Oh damn! I’m late for my mother and daughter quality time together. And don’t worry about it okay everything is going to work out fine,” you’ll see. Now I better get out of here before I start crying,” Kelly said as she gave Judy a good bye hug then walked out the door

Chapter 4

After Kelly left Judy popped down on her bed

“What am I going to do? I wish that I could talk to Hope, I know she’ll know what to do,” She said yawning. A few minutes later Judy was fast asleep

“Things aren’t going so great huh kid?” Hope asked

“Hope! If I wasn’t so mad I’d be so happy to see you, how could you not tell me what Amy was going through! No wonder she was thinking about killing herself,” Whatever made you think that I could handle this!

“Would you still have done it if you knew?” Hope asked

“You’re kidding right?” Judy smirked “That’s not even the point you talked me into changing places with her. And now she’s god knows where without a care in the world, while I’m stuck here to clean up her mess!”

Hope just sighed and answered “you still don’t get it,”

“Get what?” Judy frowned

“I know that you’re upset and feel betrayed by Amy and myself, but the truth is.” That you were chosen not only for Amy’s sakes but also for yours,” Hope started to explain

What?

“You killed yourself because you thought nobody cared about you but that wasn’t the case. Your parents are still morning your loss if you only opened up and talked about your feelings.” They’d have gotten you the help that you needed. But instead you just threw your life away without giving anyone a chance to show you that they cared,” Hope continued

Judy was now crying “I’m sorry I didn’t know but what does that have anything to do with what’s going on. “I don’t understand!

“It’s against the rules but I’m going to give you a clue that might help you don’t allow Leo, to ruin your second chance—,” Hope began

“Leo?” Whoa, wait a minute! He didn’t plan this whole thing did he?” Judy cried out

“We’ll never know why or understand what made Leo, do the things that he did. Let’s just say that people like him are going to have a very hot future.” “Well I’ve to go now I’ve told you all that you need to know for now good luck,” Hope smiled as she began to slowly fade away

“Hope, no wait! I still don’t understand! Judy cried out but it was too late Hope had already left. A second later she was wide awake

“That’s settles it the next time I see Frank, I’m going to tell him the whole story. “I just hope that I can get through this,” Judy suddenly felt a cold

breeze rush inside her room and could’ve sworn that she heard Amy’s voice whisper “You will”

Chapter 5

The next day Judy looked for Frank inside the cafeteria

“Hey looking for me?”

Judy turned around to see Frank standing behind her smiling

“Sorry, I’m late I had to go to the office to pick up some papers,” He explained. He put his arm around her shoulder and walked over to their regular table

“Hey guys!” They said in unison as they sat down

“What are you doing later on tonight?” Judy asked Frank

“Nothing, much why?” Frank shrugged

“Because I need to talk to you about something important and—,” Judy began

“Important like what?” Leo interrupted frowning

“I wasn’t talking to you Leo,” Judy replied angrily

“Whatever, but I need to talk to you outside now!” Leo snorted

“Relax Frankie, this is between me and your girlfriend,” Leo added smirking as he stood up and grabbed Judy’s arm and lead her outside

“I wouldn’t tell him if I were you!” He threatened. Once they were outside the cafeteria

“And what are you going to do if I do!” Nothing that’s what!” And besides it’s my decision to make not yours!” Judy yelled back. She then tried to walk away from him but Leo grabbed her by the arm and repeated

“You better not tell him!”

“Please let go Leo, you’re hurting my arm! She cried out. But Leo just stood there staring at her. Judy pushed him as hard as she could and yelled

“I said let go!”

Leo was surprised by her reaction and let her go

“What was that all about?” Frank asked as he touched her arm

Ouch!

“Oh, I’m sorry did I hurt you?” He softly asked

“No, it’s just a little sore,” Judy muttered. As she pulled her sleeve up and rub the big red spot underneath it

“What happened to your arm? Did Leo, do that?” Frank asked angrily. And before Judy could answer him the late bell rang

“Do you want me to walk you to your next class?” He asked noticing that Leo was staring at them

“No, that’s okay I need to go to my locker first. But I’ll see tonight can you come over around seven?”

“Okay”

Judy gave him a big kiss good bye then hurried to her locker she was about to go to her first class. When Heather came up to her

“Okay what happened? I saw the look Leo, gave you guys as you walked passed him,” She asked

“Leo, pulled me outside then threatened me that if I knew what was good for me. “I wouldn’t tell Frank the truth,” Judy sighed

“What an asshole!’ Who’s he to threaten you have you told Frank yet?” Heather cried out angrily

“No, I’m going to tell him tonight when he comes over,” Judy sighed

“Good, be sure to call me the moment that he leaves good luck!” Heather yelled as she hurried to her next class

Chapter 6

“So what did you want to talk about?” Frank asked

“There’s no easy way to say this, so I’ll just tell you the whole story from the beginning,” Judy mumbled. Frank nodded

“Okay here it goes remember that big fight we had a couple weeks ago?” She asked

“Yah, I wanted to make sure that you were completely over Leo,” Frank answered

“Well that night I bumped into him at a party he tried to kiss me and when I told him no.” He got pissed later on he brought me something to drink I knew that I shouldn’t have took it. But how would I know that he put something in it. I must of have passed out or something cause I don’t remember the rest. I only remember waking up naked in Leo’s bed.” Judy started to explain

Frank took a deep breath

“A couple weeks ago Leo, had to take a blood test and when the results came back it said that he was HIV positive.” I freaked out and got tested myself and my results were the same as Leo’s,” Judy started crying “I was going to tell you as soon as I found out but I was to scared that you’d hate me”

“I’m going to kill that bastard!” Frank interrupted “And you! I don’t understand why you just didn’t tell me as soon as you found out!”

“I told you I was scared that you wouldn’t love me anymore. I’m so sorry please forgive me!” Judy pleaded. Frank walked over to the window and stood there silently looking outside for what seemed like hours

“Why Amy?” Why did you’ve to sleep with him?”

“I didn’t sleep with him he put something in my drink he raped me! I know that it sounds like I’m making up an excuse, “But that’s what happened I swear!” Judy yelled

Frank ran his fingers through his hair angrily “How do I know that you’re telling the truth?”

What?

“You heard me why should I believe anything that you say!” You’re nothing but a little lying—,” Forget it you’re not even worth it I’m out of here!” He yelled

“Frank, please don’t go I love you!” Judy cried

“You love me?” Do you really or is that just another lie?” Frank asked sarcastically

“It’s not! I really do love you please Frank, you’ve to believe that I’m so sorry I never meant to hurt you!” Judy pleaded as he walked towards the front door “You can’t leave we’ve to talk about this!”

“Don’t make me laugh Amy, we’ve talked enough! Why don’t you call your pal Leo, I’m sure he’d be thrilled to make you another drink!” He smirked before he slammed the door in her face

Chapter 5

A week later Judy was sitting in her bedroom trying to do her homework when the phone rang

“Why can’t everyone just leave me alone?” She muttered to herself. But the phone kept ringing

Hello?

“Judy, please don’t hang up okay? I know that I’ve been acting like a real jerk lately.” And I wouldn’t blame you if you slammed the phone in my ear, but please just hear me out first okay.” I missed you and I’m sorry that I walked out on you but I just needed some time to figure out so things for myself.” So to make it up to you I’d like for you to meet me in an hour inside the school gym,” He explained

“I missed you too, I’m just so happy that you called I’ve been so miserable without you!’ But why don’t we—,”

“Amy, just meet there okay?’ He laughed “I love you bye,”

“He loves me?” Judy smiled “Hope was right, but I wonder why he wants to meet at school of all places?

Judy took a deep breath before she opened the gym she slowly opened the big steel door and was surprised to see Frank who was standing in the middle of the floor speaking to half the school. Their eyes met as she was about to take a seat near the door

“And now I’d like all of you to meet the girl who gave me the courage and love for me, to stand here and tell you our story.” I hope that by me telling you guys this story it will encourage all of you to be careful of whom you date or sleep with. “Amy will you please join me,”

They all stood up and began to clap as Judy slowly started to make her way towards him

“Wow! That was great!” Kelly exclaimed as Frank and Judy walked hand in hand with her outside

“I just wish that Leo would’ve been there I’d have loved to see that stupid smirked. “He always has on his face be wiped off when Frank told everyone what he did,” To Amy and only god knows who else?” She added

“Yah, I bet you’re not the only one who would love to talk to him right now,” Frank began

“Well I can tell you where he’s,” Heather smiled

“Where? And where were you? You missed the whole thing,” Kelly asked frowning

“I was on my way here when I got a flat tire, I was waiting for the tow truck to come. “When the news of Leo’s murder came over the radio,” Heather started to explain

“Wait what! Judy frowned

“He was murdered. The guy on the radio said that his mom found him this morning.” He shot in the head,” Heather answered her

“Oh my god!” Kelly cried out “Do the cops know who did it?”

“Nope, but who cares!” Come on let’s grab a pizza I’m starving!” Heather laughed

“Heather! How could you think about food at a time like this?” Judy yelled at her

“Yah Heather! What the hell is wrong with you anyway?” Kelly added

“Hey relax! What’s the big deal?” Heather asked rolling her eyes at them

“The big deal is that I just finished telling about half the school how much I wanted to kill the guy.” For what he did to Amy, but instead of ripping his throat out. I decided it would be better if I just told everyone what a real asshole he really is!” Frank exclaimed

“Was” Heather smiled

What?

“You said what an asshole he’s but not that he was,” She began

“You’ve a very sick sense of humor you know that?” Kelly frowned

“Whatever! So you told everybody that you wanted to kill him so did a lot of people,” Heather shrugged

“But the police are going to think that I did it!” Frank cried

“And did you?” Heather asked

No!

“So don’t worry about it. Now can we please get something to eat before I starve to death!” Heather pleaded

Chapter 9

THE NEXT DAY

“So is Frank, still worried about the cops?” Heather asked grabbing two diet cokes

“Yah, he keeps saying that the police are going to blame him instead of looking for the real killer,” Judy answered taking the soda Heather handed her “Who do you think did it?”

“Don’t know maybe he was doing drugs,” Heather shrugged

“Leo? No he’d never risk being thrown off the football team he lived for the team,” Judy answered

“Well maybe you weren’t the only girl that he inflected,” Heather replied. Judy gave her a confused look and asked

“What’s that supposed to mean?”

“Look Amy, maybe you weren’t the first or the last girl that scumbag attacked. “And if he did rape somebody else then maybe she wasn’t as forgiving as you were.” It wouldn’t surprise me if they took matters into their own hands and just killed him,” Heather explained “I know I’d have,” She added

“You would?” Judy cried out surprised

“Well they say that revenge is a bitch,” Heather smirked

“I guess you’re right,” Judy shrugged uncertainly “Hey maybe it was just a burglar and Leo caught whoever it was in the act,”

“Nah! He was shot while he was sleeping he never knew what hit him anyway Leo, got what deserved,”

“Nobody deserves to be murdered Heather, not even someone like Leo,” Judy answered her sadly

“Well he sure deserved something,” Heather mumbled. She then got up from the sofa and walked into the kitchen “Hey! you want a sandwich?”

“No thanks; I’ve to go I promised Frank, that I’d meet him at the mall. I’ll call you later okay?” Judy answered. She quickly grabbed her things and walked out the front door

Judy walked inside her house threw her book bag on the sofa and walked into the kitchen to grab a coke

“Heather couldn’t have killed Leo could she?” Well if she did at least I know why she did it. God, I just wish that this nightmare were over.” Judy walked outside to her back porch and looked up at the night stars

“Hope, if you could hear me I just want you to know that I finally understand what you were trying to tell me.” The doorbell pulled her out of her trance she went back inside and even though she knew it was. She still looked through the peephole

“Who is it?” She yelled

“It’s Officer Grant, Miss, may I come in?” I’d like to ask you a few questions about a Leo Davis.” Judy leaned against the doorframe and started crying not only for Amy but also for Heather and herself

“Miss, is everything okay?” The officer asked. Judy wiped her eyes before she opened the door

“I’m sorry to keep you waiting please come in; I already know why you’re here. “And I think I know who killed Leo and why,” She answered back softly
